To address the issue of: Value or price of WATER?, the approach to the National Water Law was initiated with the aim of regulating the exploitation, use of waters, their distribution and control, as well as the preservation of their quantity and quality to achieve their sustainable integral development. The program included the participation of ITZEL RÍOS, a graduate in Philosophy from the Autonomous University of Zacatecas, who conducted an investigation of the language used in the Law, showing that throughout the body of the Law, the conception of water as a resource, as a commodity, prevails over the human rights approach and its importance and purpose of contributing to social well-being.
